About these terms
Outhaven is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms add what's specific to Outhaven. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use Outhaven
You must be 16 or older to use Outhaven. If we learn an account belongs to someone younger, we delete it.
Community rules
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Everyone agrees to these rules before sharing anything with other people:
- Be kind. No hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or illegal content in posts, stories, captions, names or invites, and don't pretend to be someone else.
- Share only photos you took and have the right to share.
- You can report a post, story or person, and block anyone from their profile.
- Content reported by three people is hidden until we review it. We remove content and ban accounts that break these rules.
Reporting and blocking
- Report a post or story from its menu, or a person from their profile. Choose a reason; you can add details.
- Report a buddy group from its settings: the report goes with the group's name.
- Block anyone from their profile: you won't see each other anywhere in Outhaven.
- You can also email us at support@outhaven.app.
- We review reports within 24 hours. Content reported by three different people who have used Outhaven is hidden until we do. We remove content that breaks these rules and ban the accounts that post it.
Your account
Keep your sign-in to yourself. You can delete your account at any time in Account > Delete account; that deletes your data as the Privacy Policy describes, but doesn't cancel an Outhaven Plus subscription, which Apple bills (cancel it in Settings first). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Outhaven Plus
- Outhaven Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. The app shows the price for your country before you buy.
- Some plans start with a free trial, offered only if your Apple ID hasn't had one for Outhaven Plus before.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm, or when the free trial ends.
- It renews automatically at the same price until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or period to avoid the next charge.
- Manage or cancel it in Settings > your name > Subscriptions, or in Outhaven: Account > Outhaven Plus > Manage subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Leaves
Leaves are the in-app currency. You earn them by going outside; they can't be bought with money, have no cash value, and can't be sold or transferred.
